Board of Directors Questionnaire for Candidates Due May 31st

Serving on the AHAIN Board of Directors is an excellent opportunity to actively support your organization and to help develop policies and initiatives that will positively impact the affordable housing industry. AHAIN is governed by a thirteen member Board of Directors that is actively engaged in setting the strategic direction of the association. The Board is representative of all geographic areas of the state, as well as both urban and rural organizations.

AHAIN by-laws require that all board members must be current members of the association. AHAIN is seeking members to fill two board openings that will become available this summer.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please submit a completed Board of Directors Questionnaire for Candidates to the AHAIN office by the close of business on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. The completed questionnaire represents an expression of interest in a board position, and may serve as a substitute for a letter of interest. Please email the completed questionnaire to cluth@inaha.org by the due date.

The AHAIN Nominating Committee will carefully review each questionnaire and recommend new directors. AHAIN Board Members will vote on the recommended candidates at the next board meeting on June 23, 2016. Board Members will begin their terms at the June Board of Directors meeting.
