HUD’s Office of Multifamily Housing recently published a Housing Notice, “Continued Availability of Funds for COVID-19 Supplemental Payments for Properties Receiving Project-Based Rental Assistance under the Section 8, Section 202, or Section 811 Programs.” This Housing Notice opens the third round of application submission for owners to apply for funds to offset property expenditures to combat the effects of COVID-19. New in this Housing Notice is the supplemental payments that may cover personal protective equipment associated with conducting vaccination and testing events and temporary clinics at the property, and vehicle reimbursement for transportation associated with vaccination.
Owners must submit payment requests for expenses incurred through March 31, 2021 by April 26, 2021 via this form. HUD also published a “Tips for completing COVID-19 supplemental payments form” document.
